Ignite International exists to use the universal language of athletic competition to enrich, encourage and empower the lives of people, both at home and abroad. One of the primary means by which we accomplish this is through short-term mission trips, primarily (but by no means exclusively) for athletes, teams, coaches, trainers and fans. Ignite International teams compete with club and national teams for the sake of attracting a crowd with whom we share how they, too, can have a personal relationship with their Creator. Ignite teams also conduct sport clinics through partnerships with schools, orphanages, churches, ministries, and other entities that seek to engage young people in activities to which they are naturally drawn. Wherever and whenever possible, Ignite partners with local, established organizations whose impact will continue after our team has returned home. For Ignite, it is NOT about reporting numbers. It is, however, ALL about relationship!!
It is equally our intentional focus that what our teams experience overseas will serve to be an agent of radical transformation and enduring passion in the lives of our participants – for pursuing the destiny for which they were created and in doing so, being a model of their Savior to their sphere of influence here in the United States. It really is all about relationship!!
