Ignite Volleyball Club began in 2002 and has established itself in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex as a club of integrity, honor and excellence. Through high repetition skill development, Ignite believes that the club experience is a means to an end, not an end itself. Our goal is to prepare the student-athlete for their next level of volleyball – be it college preparation, high school or middle school. At all levels, Ignite athletes are taught and challenged to compete at their best in every skill, every time they step on the court. “Do it right, or don’t do it at all” has become our motto, and it applies to all aspects of our training. Above all, Ignite Volleyball Club uses the venue of training as a tool to empower and equip its athletes to live life by the same victorious principles that produce champions on the court. Through the Word of the Month and other intentional opportunities, Ignite athletes are challenged to become people of integrity, greatness, non-negotiables, influence, trust and excellence.
Ignite Volleyball Club provides opportunities for its teams to serve others by extending its hand in several outreach projects. Since 2005, Ignite Volleyball Club has donated hundreds of pounds of supplies to assist the Nicaragua National Team and other entities in the nation of Nicaragua. Ignite VBC has also taken numerous trips to DFW Airport to welcome home soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Dallas-Fort Worth Personnel Assistant Point of the United States Army. We were completely honored on April 29, 2006 when we were informed that the outbound military flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Kuwait was named “Operation Ignite” in recognition of our support. Ignite has annually sent care packages to soldiers serving in harm’s way. Additionally, Ignite athletes, families and coaches are also invited annually to go on a sport mission trip to Nicaragua and have made a significant impact through competition with high school teams, assistance with feeding and student sponsorship programs and other outreach activities.
