VA Intermont VB Spring Break

We look forward to the arrival of Virginia Intermont College's Women's Volleyball Team!!  Currently they are en route to Managua, and by this afternoon will arrive for a powerful week of outreach, competition and genuine impact!

Ignite International takes great pleasure in seeing university level students who choose to make an Eternal impact during their spring break, rather than choices that will lead to regrets.  We honor the sacrifice of each of these ladies and their coaches, and we look forward to an amazing week together in Ignite's 2nd Home - the wonderful nation of Nicaragua!!

Check this blog for as many updates as we can provide!!  By tonight, we will likely set up the blog on the NICARAGUA page under the MISSION TRIPS tab so you can keep up.  We will do our best to add pictures, etc.  We know we have good internet until Sunday morning - after that, we are not sure.....so we'll keep you as in tune as we can!

Blessings to all, keep the VIVB team in your prayers for the next week :-)

Thank you Ignite, Coach Kinser, and Virginia Intermont's Lady Cobra Volleyball team for your heart to serve The Kingdom! My baby girl (Rachael "Bella" Bell) is with you and I am excited for what this trip will do in the live of those you touch and the lives of the team from this moment forward! I have been studying in James and this one small passage has "stuck" in my mind that I will share and have prayed over you from Isaiah 61 - 1-3:

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

I LOVE YOU ALL!
Becky
